A Putty Knife

The putty knife. A small, paintbrush-like tool with a metal straightedge. Some use it to smooth caulk in tiling projects. Some use it for spackling a wall before painting. Still others use it to remove wallpaper.

But what does it really represent? Well, it's a mechanism for perfection. It takes away all of the bumps and dirt and unnecessary layers of trouble in your world.

When you're done with the putty knife, there are no flaws. Holes are nonexistent, at least on the surface. Walls can finally breathe again, after years of oppression under layers and layers of floral print. It's like the family can breathe again.

And it leaves everything it touches perfectly smooth, even, and beautiful.

The putty knife. It's not just a home improvement tool. It's a life improvement tool.
